The great helm or pot helm, barrel and is a helmet of the middle ages which started in the late twelfth century in the context of the Crusades and remained in use until the fourteenth century. The barreled style was used by knights in most European armies. The helmets offered by us are made of 18 gauge carbon steel and come with a pure brass cross.
